# Operators

Every operator the add-on provides, for use from the panel or from scripts.

These are the operators the add-on registers. Most are buttons in the panel. You can also run them with `bpy.ops` or find them in the search menu (`F3`).

## What each one does

* **Import Minecraft Rig** appends the rig, tags it, gives it its own materials and syncs its properties. See [Importing the rig](/jabe-rig-wiki/documentation/getting-started/importing-the-rig.md).
* **Select Rig** syncs a rig's properties and makes its armature active. It takes the armature's object name as `object_name`.
* **Convert to IK / FK** snaps one limb to the other mode without a jump and, with IK-FK AutoKey on, keys it. See [IK and FK](/jabe-rig-wiki/documentation/features/ik-and-fk.md).
* **Make Materials Unique** gives the active rig its own copy of the materials and node groups it shares with another rig. See [Working with multiple rigs](/jabe-rig-wiki/documentation/guides/working-with-multiple-rigs.md).
* **Apply Library Overridable** marks the rig's custom properties so they stay editable in a Library Override. See [Using the rig as a Library Override](/jabe-rig-wiki/documentation/guides/using-the-rig-as-a-library-override.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://jabe.gitbook.io/jabe-rig-wiki/documentation/reference/operators.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
